Freezer paper stencil tshirts

I made some cute little stencilled tshirts using freezer paper and fabric paint at the weekend
I just printed an outline on the freezer paper with my regular injet printer and cut it out. I then ironed the freezer paper, waxy side down, onto the tshirt. I painted the stencil useing screen printing paint, waited for it to dry and then peeled off the stencil. I ironed it afterward to set it but check your paint instructions for how to fix it
Theres some great silhouette clip art available on the internet to use if your rubbish at drawing like me!

Alphabet pop up book

I went on a fab pop up course at Shepherds Falkiners in london last year and ive been working on a pop up book since then, trying out all the techniques i learnt. I wanted to do the alphabet as its simple shapes and theres lots of them and also i had the most beautiful animal alphabet pop up book as child which is still one of my most treasured possessions.
I made each letter on card first and then bound them together with linen thread
I love how it turned out, its like my pop up reference book that i can refer to whenever im at a loss

Upcycled Wool Bag

I turned this old wool coat of mine into a fab new handbag!
I used this tutorial as a basic starting point but changed all the sizes and omitted the interfacing and fleece as the wool was sturdy enough. I also changed the pleats from multiple single pleats to one double pleat which worked much better with the wool
I L-O-V-E how it turned out and even lovely BM was impressed (pretty hard to do normally!)
And even better it was free!!

Ribbon spools

I'm not brilliant at organising and im always envious when i see people with their amazing organised and colour coordinated crafting supplies (love this blog but it does make me feel a touch inadequate!) But when i saw this really easy spool template for storing your ribbons or threads then i knew i could at least manage that! I do despair slightly when i look at my ribbon stash, it looks like the Marley Cat's had a field day in there, so this was ideal for me. I cut out a variety of sizes of cardboard spool from some A4 kraft card i bought form ebay. Wrapped the ribbon round and secured them with a pin - done! Super easy and really effective :)
