Toastie maker bag

Our toastie maker and its greasy little underbelly and feet drive me mad! Its so hard to clean and always leaves a mess on the shelf so ive made it a little storage bag! Theyre the same as the drawstring bags i made for the snakes, just a different shape

Bacon Sandwich Lattice

Ive seen these bacon lattices all over the internet so i knew i had to have a go, and lovely BM is never one to turn down a bacon sandwich, especially in the interests of my blogging!

I just lay the bacon over and under each other when it was raw, baked it in the oven until it was crispy and the devoured it! They were so good :) but honestly when isnt a bacon sandwich good!

Ice cream sandwiches

I loved ice cream sandwiches as a kid - who didnt! But they were usually made with wafer not biscuits and as ive been seeing biscuit based one all over pinterest i had to give them a go!
I used this recipe by Smitten Kitchen and used my homemade cookies and cream ice cream and they were amazing! Very rich so id might make half sized ones next time but they definitely lived up to my childhood memories!

George Foreman Grill Paninis

I love paninis but i dont love the idea of buying yet another kitchen gadget to make them. Then, when i was close to giving in and buying a panini maker a little light bulb pinged on above my head! I bought lovely BM a George Foreman grill as a house warming present many moons ago - would that work? So i gave it a go and it doesnt just work it makes brilliant paninis! So i just had to share

So these are all my ingredients, i made a mozzarella, parma ham and sunblush tomato panini with garlic herb butter

First off i spread my panini halves with the garlic herb butter. I use this recipe from Annie's Eats. (My butter was frozen which is why its in little lumps!)

Then i toast the panini halves to get all the garlic and herbs into the bread

Take them off the grill and add the filling

Pop them back on the grill, squish them down flat with the lid and let them grill away
Once theyre toasted to your liking, cut them in half and scoff them down :)

Enjoy! Lovely BM and I certainly did :)
