Picture Wall Art
These are the other items on the picture wall which i made before i started blogging.

Fabric circles appliqued to some white cotton and tiny hearts punched from a map of our local area

Cute wrapping paper i found in Sydney Australia and a gorgeous silk painting of a boat, a card from many birthdays ago

A beautiful piece of calligraphy given to me by my Aunt, again many years ago and a felt heart i made for lovely BM when we first moved in together

Add Ribbon Handles to Gift Bags
I saw this post about DIY gift bags at Thrify Fun ages ago and wanted to make my own at Christmas but didnt have time, but a recent glut of birthdays and other events meant i needed a few nice gift bags so i finally did it, well part of it... I didnt make the bags myself, i bought cheap ones and then changed the handles for pretty ribbon ones, but i think it works really well, no chance of anyone else having the same wrapping as you too!

Stamped wrapping paper
I went quite simple with my wrapping this year, red parcel paper and gold stamped snowflakes. I love this stamped wrapping paper over at Craft Magazine so i thought id give it a go :)

Wordsearch wrapping paper
I made myself some wordsearch wrapping paper this week. Basically I setup an A3 word document, created a table that covered the whole page and then added a letter to each cell of the table. I repeated 'happy' and birthday' throughout the paper so they'd always be some to circle however i wrapped the present. Then i printed it on my A3 printer, wrapped the present, finally found the best happy and birthday and circled them in marker pen.
I love how it turned out, cant wait to give someone a gift wrapped in it. Definitely going to use it at Christmas as well.

House wrapping paper
I love wrapping presents in brown paper, but i always think it looks a bit drab to everyone else. I try and spice it up with a pretty ribbon or something but then i saw this genius idea from Happy F&B and knew i needed to turn my brown paper boxes into houses!
So i bought some glossy avery labels, designed some basic doors and windows etc and printed them out.
I think its worked brilliantly! I just wish it had been my idea in the first place!
