More valentines themed makes! Little fimo hearts rolled in gold leaf scraps before baking, arent they cute, i love the grey one, grey and gold is such a good combination :)

Necklace organisation using straws!

I saw this amazing idea for storing necklaces in straws on Pinterest and im amazed i never thought of it before! I'm terrible at storing my jewellery, it all gets chucked in one box and invariably ends up so knotted and tangled than i never bother wearing any. So i though i would try this for storing my necklaces instead, so simple and so effective - my favourite kind of tip :)

Brass square necklace pendant

I love simple jewellery and when i saw these square frames on ebay i thought they might make good necklace charms. I was planning on adding a few to make a longer pendant but when i added the first one i liked it so much that i didnt bother adding any more!

I think it'll look great over a tshirt or with a dress, hopefully it'll be versatile enough for both :)

Balloon girl necklace - completed!

I finally got round to buying some chain for my girl with a balloon necklace and finished it off. I love how it turned out, its just the right size and looks really cute with a simple tshirt. I think she might have a tendency to flip over because the chain going to her lower hand is a bit too low, possibly should have attached it to her pony tail, but i dont think it'll be a problem when its on. All in all, i l-o-v-e her!

Girl with Balloon necklace - 2nd try

So the first attempt at this was successful but had a major flaw. So this is version 2.0 (been a few of those recently!)

Now hopefully the holes are big enough to get the jump rings through so i can create the necklace!

Wool/Yarn wrapped Washer Necklace

I loved these little yarn wrapped washers and i has some washers left after making this guy so i thought id have a go. My washers were tiny so i didnt bother trying multiple colours on one washer but i love the finished effect. Theyre also really soft and fluffy to the touch so i never stop touching them when im wearing them! 

Balloon girl pendant

I love Banksy's Girl with Heart Balloon and wanted to make a necklace of something similar. The spending embargo is still full force so i thought id experiment with some shrinky dinks i had.
I'm rubbish at drawing so I just copied a girl silhouette i found online and drew some balloons free hand (a massive accomplishment for the girl who repeatedly got Fs in art class for years!)
I drew them about 2/2.5 time bigger than i wanted and then punched some holes in them and baked them as per the instructions. And i l-o-v-e how its turned out :)
Then i spotted a huge error, can you see it?...

Theres suppose to be two chains between the girl and the balloons and then they all go on a necklace. But where exactly am i planning on attaching the girl and the balloons to the rest of the necklace?! That's right, not enough holes by half!

So i'll need to remake them but i'm still pleased with my first attempt efforts :)

Glitter hearts

More fimo hearts! Sorry again for the terrible photos but these little hearts have glitter mixed into them and then pressed on the outside. Inspired by these at Twirling Betty.
Going to put a few on a really long necklace, when the spending embargo is lifted!

Gold rings and wool necklace

I had a go at making this diy gold rings necklace from Creature Comforts, it was so easy. I just made it using stuff i already had lying around (making spending freeze is still on!) but if i made another one i think i would combine a few colours of wool and maybe find some different textured rings as well, just to make it a bit more professional looking. But i still like it, just need to find an outfit to wear it with now...
